People Always Ask: What Does Tri-Media Mean?
When Tri-Media Marketing and Publicity Inc. was founded in 1986, the prefix “Tri-” represented the convergence of the three most popular forms of media at the time -- print, radio and television.
From day one our operating mantra was: "Adapt, Adopt, Adept", which meant we must assist our clients adapt to the constantly changing marketplace by adopting new technologies in order to become adept at effective integrated communications. Thus, we chose the chameleon as our firm's mascot - to remind us all of the need to adapt in order to survive and grow. And we're proud of the 20+ years of client successes that this philosophy has supported.
Over those years the 'Tri-" prefix has represented different trends, technologies and media of the time. However, our experience has taught us that while marketing technologies & trends change there is one constant 'triple-threat' combination we all must focus on: Online. Offline. Bottom Line. Intelligently merge online and offline marketing practices to drive highly responsive marketing communications, with a focus on the client's bottom line.
So in May 2005, we became Tri-Media Integrated Marketing Technologies. The new name kept the 'Tri-' but now reflects our strength and focus in today's increasingly digital world.
To do so, we’ve developed our own proprietary suite of Web-based marketing software, known as the tmSuite™, to help our licensed marketing agencies and clients with everything from website development and content management to e-mail marketing, online reservations, eCommerce and more! For more on our suite of technologies, visit www.tmsuite.net.
Based on our success and demands from other agencies, we formed an international network of advertising and marketing agencies, each of whom has been trained and licensed to utilize our technology and online expertise to serve their own clients. In effect, Tri-Media acts as the Interactive Arm for nearly 20 advertising agencies throughout North America.
Today, our firm has offices in Niagara, Toronto, Chicago and Minsk to serve agencies and clients around the globe.
